Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL)
An ATL is a one-of-a-kind learning space that provides students the chance to develop and grow their ideas on a see-and-do basis, gain innovation skills, and fully appreciate STEM—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It should also include meeting rooms and video conferencing facilities. To foster imagination, ATL is to conduct various activities such as regional and national contests, exhibitions, workshops on problem solving, and lecture series, among others, on a continuous basis.
ATL encourages a mindset geared towards innovation and entrepreneurship by blending critical and imaginative thinking processes in students to enhance their cognitive abilities. The lab develops the practical skills of students by equipping them with appropriate tools, gadgets, and materials to solve real-world problems. The labs foster interdisciplinary studies, prompting schools to incorporate innovative methods into their current curricular.

ATL Objective
- To develop ATL zones wherein students can acquire and deploy innovation skills, think and ‘prototype’ concepts, and work as well as study in an informal environment.
- To provide our students with the necessary skills of the 21st century, such as creativity, innovation, critical thinking, design thinking, social and cross-cultural collaboration, ethical leadership, and various other skills.
- In order to build creative solutions for the unique problems of India and support the creation of a knowledge economy in India.
